Hearth Place is a non-profit, charitable organization that relies on the work of a dedicated team of volunteers and service providers who have helped create a community of support for families dealing with cancer. Peer Support
This service is provided by cancer survivors or caregivers who meet one-on-one with members to provide compassionate listening, information and understanding.

Reception
These volunteers provide reception duties. They contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere by answering the phones and greeting visitors. This position also includes assisting with light administrative duties.

Hearth Place volunteers also help with a variety of other duties, including library maintenance, preparing calendars and newsletters for mail outs to members, gardening, facility maintenance and fundraising.
